I want to share with you my personal experience of how the sports goggles prevented a very serious eye injury during a football match in Sep 2019.
My left eye took a direct hit from a shot about 5 meters away. The ball hit the goggles and the goggles took the impact and grazed my eyebrows. My eyes however was spared from any injuries. Yes, my eye brows suffered a cut but it was just superficial and I live to see another day. (pun intended)
Sports goggles cannot prevent injury altogether, however it does protect your eyes from getting a direct hit. The consequences is unthinkable the eyeball was hit directly. It could be a football, basketball, a high flying boot, an elbow etc.. Anything can happen.
Whether you are short sighted or not, I would recommend anyone playing sports to equipped themselves with a pair of goggles especially young children. We do not know when will accident happen. It could well be the next game. . so always get ready and not to wait for next week..
